Work First
This program is designed to enhance the employability of persons receiving assistance from the Family Independence Agency. A variety of services are available including job development and placement assistance, classroom and on-the-job training, and supportive services.
Job search is the primary component that is emphasized during participation in Work First. Through utilization of the Talent Bank/Job Bank System, individualized employer contact plan, and discussions with Michigan Works staff, participants have access to local and regional employment opportunities. |
